NASA. Apollo 16. The lunar rover is shown parked on the slope of “Stone Mountain” beside a large crater. A sample-collection bag is placed on the ground in this region known as the Descartes site, whose particularly rugged and rocky terrain is clearly visible here. April 22, 1972.
